Westmont R-1 / R-2 / R-3
lot and building standards.
Westmont sets lot area, width, depth, setbacks, coverage, and height for detached houses in its R districts. Pre-Flight checks the proposed envelope against the adopted standards.
Plain English
R-1 is the least intensive single-unit district; R-2 and R-3 allow smaller lots. The front yard is measured from the street line, side yards are combined as a percentage of lot width with a minimum on each side, and the rear yard is a percentage of lot depth.
Detached houses in R-1 through R-3 are capped at 35 feet and 35% lot coverage. Confirm the exact district and any corner-lot or lot-of-record adjustment before relying on a number.
